The founder and director of the Ski Cool Vittorio Caffi has began skiing when he was 6 years old, since then he never gave up: as soon as he can, he is on the snow.
He worked a few years as a ski patroller in Italy, once he became ski teacher he taught in Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria. Before starting Ski Cool St. Moritz, Vittorio spent six seasons teaching ski in St. Moritz.
Among is ski licences, he is qualified as a BASI ISTD, he holds the Swiss ski “patent”, the French Carte Professionelle, the Irish top qualification and he is fully certified as a ski teacher in Italy as well. He is qualified to teach using the UPS system. He has been active at the highest level in ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association) since 2004 as an Adviser, Vice President and eventually President. He has been in the charge of the ISIA Technical Commission since 2010 until 2017.
He is as well an architect and a CAD teacher at university. Vittorio enjoys as well as cross country skiing, hiking on the mountains, cycling, inline skating and swimming.
Vittorio speaks Italian, English, French and a few words of German.

Tomass is Russian, who originally comes from Latvia. He lives the majority of the year in Switzerland. He has been professional athlete all his life. First his passion was judo, after that he was a member of the Latvian national team in beach volleyball. Since 2003 he’s been professional extreme kayaker; he is the member of the Adidas Sickline Team, which is the only one professional kayak team in the whole world.
Tomass began skiing when he was 5 and since that time he skied in such destinations like Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovakia, USA, Japan and Canada. Tomass worked as a trainer for NRLI (National Russian league of instructors- 2013-2017) for many years and he was as well official representative of NRLI in ISIA Technical Commission (International Ski Instructors Association). He also holds ISIA card and he is qualified United States Ski Association alpine ski coach. He is UPS method certified ski teacher and holds BASI (British Association of Snowsport Instructors) qualification in cross-country skiing.
He studied psychology in university, which helps him to find a right contact with the people. Speaks Russian, Latvian and English. Learning Italian.
Tomass is very stable and strong in his mind and this is a big part of his success in extreme sports.

Lorenzo grew up in Torino (Italy), a city surrounded by the Alps, but has Russian origins too. The proximity with the mountains allowed him to get to know them really well and consequently to fall in love for them.
Skiing has always been part of his life since he was a kid and growing up he experienced skiing from any side perfecting his technique in a ski racing team and proving it on steep north faces around the alps.
After his studies in Canada and England he returned to his hometown were he accomplished the university degree in Management of the Mountain Environment.
His eclectic ego made him also interested in sea and sailing. In fact when he is not working as a ski instructor in St Moritz, he runs his own tour operator organizing sailing cruises and working on board as a Skipper. During the free time however, he keeps coming back to the mountains to practice mountain sports such us: rock climbing, paragliding, mountaineering, freeride skiing and many more.
He fluently speaks: Russian, Italian and English.
He has an international snow sport instructor license by ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association)

Slava has ski instructor qualification that has been done with Slovakian national ski association (SAPUL). He tried alpine skiing for the first time in 2003 (although had a several years of taking part in the cross country ski competitions as a kid).
Slava’s another passion is world of IT – this is where he spends most of his time as systems engineer. Skiing, snow and mountains are the main things that attach him to Switzerland. The mother tongue is Russian, but he speaks English and German as well.
The best part in teaching, according to Slava, is to have fun and see the client being excited about the progress she/he is making.

Diana is from Latvia, she started to ski when she was 6 year old did train also in a Latvian ski team during her childhood. She was working as a ski instructor in Latvia, Slovakia and Switzerland. She also did work as an assistant coach at the Ski Sports Club ‘Virsotne’ in Latvia; is qualified with LSSIA (Latvian Ski and Snowboard Instructors Association) and speaks Russian, Latvian and English.

Pavel started skiing 20 years ago and has since introduced his whole family (including 2-year-old son) and numerous friends to the sport.
He is qualified with the NRLI (National Russian league of instructors) and he is also UPS qualified instructor.
Aside from skiing, Pavel is coaching and playing football, and is a fan of yachting, basketball, cross country skiing and water skiing.
When he is not skiing, he works in the football industry, operating several compagnies in his home town of Riga, Latvia.
He speaks Russian, Latvian, English and some French.

Has more than 7 years of work experience in snowsports and did teach in such destinations – Hintertux, Solden, Zell am See, St.Anton, Zermat, Bukovel, StMoritz. Dimitri speaks German, Russian, English, Ukranian and Polish languages.

Nadia comes from Latvia, but she is based in Zurich, Switzerland. She did fall in love with skiing since she started it and that is why she decided to become a qualified instructor. She is holding a ski teacher license from the NRLI (National Russian league of instructors). As a ski teacher she has a wide experience with children, but also with nervous adults.
In her non-skiing life, she does work in the Beauty & Health industry as a cosmetologist. Nadia did study Company Management in University and has a big experience in customer service that helped her a lot to develop her communication skills.
Her hobbies are ice skating, hiking and a bit of dancing.

Vlad has always been involved in sport, ever since being a kid. Since his snowsports adventure started, it has never stopped: since day one he can never get enough skiing, he’s the first on the slopes and last one to go down.
Snowboard is his first disciplines being qualified as an instructor with BASI, though he also holds a BASI ski instructor licence.
The rest of the year he teaches indoor sports in the UK where he’s based. He works also as personal trainer and yoga instructor.
Vlad is a great outdoor enthusiast spending a lot of time mountain biking, hiking, climbing and surfing.

mountains. Beginning his journey with snowboard, a couple of years later he

Apart from skiing he is passionate about his work as Data Acquisition and
Controls engineer, drives business development in several areas, and much
enjoys motorbiking and shooting as hobbies.
According to Egor the most beautiful part of snow sports is the feeling of freedom
and fun which is what he helps to achieve for each of his students. He tries to
improve his skills on a daily basis and is ready to pass on his knowledge in a fun
and friendly manner.
He lives in Switzerland and speaks fluently Russian, English and German.
