The UPS Concept is a modern ski teaching method that uses progressively longer skis, starting from 90 cm, moving on to 125 cm and eventually to full-length, in order to make learning more easy, fast, intuitive and aligned with today’s carving and rotational techniques.

It was developed as a response to the outdated and overly complex traditional ski school methods, which no longer meet the expectations of new skiers or take full advantage of modern equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
From the first day the Engadin lifts open (usually around mid-October) through to the end of the season (typically late April).
The 90 and 125cm skies will be provided by us and their rental is included in the lesson price. The full length ones can be rented in one of the several shops available in the resorts, and are not part of the package.
For the hotel guests, the pass can be purchased directly at reception, often for a special price. For those who have other kinds of accommodation, the tickets are available online or at the lift station ticket offices. The skipass is not included in the lesson price.
There are basically no age limits. Ski classes are available for children, typically starting from 3 or 4 years old (sometimes even earlier), and adults of every age. Each lesson is adapted to the participants’ level and ability.
We teach UPS lessons in multiple languages. Our skilled ski instructors can teach UPS in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Czech, Slovenian, and several other languages.

He kept pushing me for improvement and was able to give easy to follow advice so I felt my skiing improved over the week. We will give you a call next time we are in St Moritz.

Vittorio was an excellent teacher but equally as importantly he was also great company. One of the first things he did was to remind me to relax again whilst skiing and his input and examples made my short turns much more dynamic. He also reminded me to adapt my stance on piste to the type of turn, speed and terrain resulting in greater versatility and increased stability at higher speeds. Thank you for some great lessons.

Vittorio, we all had a wonderful time on Sunday. Pete did the marathon in under 3 hours, Mark did it in about 3.30 hours as did Leslie. Nick and Scott did it in just over 4 hours. Suzy in 4.30 hours. Lucy and I did the half marathon in 2 hours 15 mins. Everyone loved it and was pleased with their performance. We all want to come back next year! Thanks for your great lessons which were such a huge help. We really enjoyed them too.
